Nashville Numbers Live
The Bandleader Is Calling Changes
Only the seven chords in this key. Say each one out loud as you play it — naming the number and the chord together is what makes it stick.
Build your setlist, then the bandleader calls a number and you tap that chord before the ring runs out.
Easy shows only the seven chords in the key — say each one out loud as you play it and they
start to stick. Pro gives you all twelve roots and you pick the voicing yourself.
These are the standard voicings: 1·4·5 are major, 2·6 are minor, and the 3 and 7 are
slash chords — the 3 is the 1 chord over its third (C/E in the key of C) and the 7 is the 5 chord
over its third (G/B). Some songs use the darker minor 3 instead, so that counts too.
